Peer Review Process

The Global Journal of Business, Commerce, Economics and Management Research (GJBCEMR) follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure published articles meet high standards of quality, originality, and scholarly contribution. Peer review is essential for maintaining research integrity and the credibility of the scientific record.

Editorial decisions are based on academic merit, methodology, relevance, and significance of the submitted manuscript.

Initial Editorial Assessment

All submitted manuscripts are first screened by editors for suitability within the journal scope and compliance with submission guidelines. At this stage, manuscripts are evaluated for originality, structure, ethical compliance, and overall scholarly quality.

Manuscripts that do not meet journal requirements may be returned to authors or rejected without proceeding to peer review.

Double-Blind Peer Review Process

GJBCEMR uses a double-blind peer review system, where both author and reviewer identities are concealed during the review process. This ensures unbiased and objective evaluation of submitted manuscripts.

Suitable manuscripts are assigned to independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

Reviewer Evaluation Criteria

Reviewers assess manuscripts based on the following criteria:

  • Originality and significance of research
  • Relevance to journal aims and scope
  • Methodological rigor and analytical quality
  • Clarity and structure of presentation
  • Accuracy of interpretation and conclusions
  • Adequacy of references and supporting literature

Reviewers provide constructive feedback to support editorial decisions and help authors improve their manuscripts.

Editorial Decision

Based on reviewer reports and editorial assessment, manuscripts may receive one of the following decisions:

  • Accepted for publication
  • Accepted with minor revisions
  • Revise and resubmit after major revisions
  • Rejected

The Editor-in-Chief or assigned editors make the final decision based on reviewer recommendations and overall manuscript quality.

Revision and Resubmission

Authors may be asked to revise manuscripts in response to reviewer comments. Revised submissions are re-evaluated to ensure concerns have been addressed.

In some cases, revised manuscripts may be sent back to reviewers for further evaluation.

Confidentiality and Ethical Standards

Manuscripts and reviewer reports are treated as confidential throughout the review process. Authors, reviewers, and editors must maintain confidentiality and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

The journal is committed to integrity, objectivity, and ethical handling of all editorial processes.

Commitment to Quality Review

GJBCEMR maintains a transparent and unbiased peer review system to ensure publication of high-quality and relevant research. The journal fosters constructive communication between authors, reviewers, and editors to improve scholarly output.
